Hey, I’m Elyse Johnson! I was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland, just outside of Baltimore. Music and theatre have been lifelong passions of mine. For as long as I can remember, I grew up listening to nothing but the rhythms and grooves of Michael Jackson, The Beatles, and Whitney Houston to name a few. My musical style is greatly influenced by the ladies of the 80’s, living in the world of everything Pop Rock. Some of my favorite roles I've played include Janet Van de Graaf in THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, Fantine in LES MISERABLES, and most recently at Shenandoah University, Catherine in PIPPIN. When I'm not doing theatre, I love having a girls night in with my roommates, creating new recipes, traveling, and being a die hard Baltimore Ravens fan. After graduation in May of 2024, I plan on making the big move to NYC and diving head first into every opportunity that comes my way.
